Rotary Club of Sinkor inducts New Officers for 2023-2024

The Rotary Club of Sinkor Inducted its new leadership for the 2023 – 2024 Rotary year on Wednesday, July 19, 2023

Those inducted were:

  • Rtn O. Natty B. Davis, II, President
  • Rtn Esther Paegar (President Elect, 2024-2025)
  • Rtn Massa S.S. Crayton, Vice President
  • Rtn Joyce Frankfort, Secretary
  • Rtn Elizabeth Matu Tubman-White, Treasurer
  • Rtn Victoria York, Sergeant-At-Arms

Directors for various committees were also inducted:

  • Club Administration, Rtn Alicia Ann Caesar
  • Foundation, Rtn Rexiena M. Mapp
  • Service Project, Rtn Gyude Bedell
  • Finance, PP Samuel A. Mitchell, Jr.
  • Education, Rtn Samuel Slewion
  • New Generation, Rtn Elizabeth Horace Kwemi
  • Membership, Rtn Bayogar E. Wisseh
  • Public Relation, Rtn Bill Montgomery, Jr.

The Past Assistant Government (PAG) for Liberia Rtn PAG Milton A. Weeks was the Guest Speaker and Induction Officer. PAG Milton is also a Past President of the Rotary Club of Monrovia.

PAG Milton commended the Rotary Club of Sinkor for its splendid role in serving humanity. He said “we must get involved to create hope in the World by evidencing good leadership”. He also reminded Rotarians that a key part of leadership is being a role model. PAG Milton admonished the incoming President not to think on what he can do in one year but how far can he bring the club in one year; building on what his predecessors left.

Gentleman President (GP) Natty B, as he is called by fellow Rotarians, congratulated all past presidents of RCS for their hard work in bringing the club to its present state, during his address. He said the areas of focus for his administration is Youth development initiatives in the Sinkor area. The activities will involve Youth mental health workshops, youth advocacy and social justice, youth education and empowerment, among others, which he said have the potential to make peace possible, especially during the upcoming presidential and legislative elections.

Rtn GP Natty B brings to this position a wealth of experience in leadership. He held several high-profile positions in the Government of Liberia and the private sector. He is currently the Vice President of Liberia Chamber of Commerce.
